I'm Alex, wedding DJ and founder of Mobile Beats.
I DJ for weddings across Scotland. I take the time to get to know each couple; the music they love, what they'd rather avoid, and what they think will work for their guests. Each part of the day is built around those essentials so that everything that matters gets played, what doesn't stays out, and there's still room to read the crowd and keep the energy right from start to finish.

How it Works
Here's what I do. Here's how it works.
Well in advance of the day, we'll chat over a video call and go through your plans. timings and the kind of atmosphere you want. We'll also talk through the formalities - things like introductions, cake cutting and formal dances - so everything runs smoothly on the day.
You can tell me the songs you have to hear, the ones you don't want, and what you think will work best for your guests. I'm always happy to offer advice if you're unsure what fits where; after hundreds of weddings, I know what works and how to keep the night. flowing naturally.
From there, I'll build the day around what matters most, keeping things flexible enough to respond to the room. On the day itself, it's all about flow, timing and instinct - knowing when to lift the energy, when to hold back, and creating a night that feels personal to you rather than generic.
